Pick + Sip + Paint -- Sunflower Session
Pick a farm-fresh sunflower from our garden and learn to paint it with step-by-step instructions. Meet a few new friends and sip some wine.
About this event
In this class by Gather Arts you will learn to paint step-by-step a beautiful sunflower. Your inspiration will be a live sunflower you pick from our fall sunflower patch. We will provide charcutery boxes and spirits. You will learn a few techniques in this session including:
Wet and dry brush application
Fundamental color mixing
Blending and basic pointilism
When finished this wood medallion, approximately 15" wide, can be hung on the wall, used as a serving platter tray with raised legs, or as a small end table. Instructor Michael Merrill will supply paints, brushes, and all the supplies you will need. Hope you will join us in a Pick, Sip, And Paint event.
