Ruth Hawes is the heart and hands behind Sew Pretty by Ruth, a vibrant collection of handcrafted home goods sewn with love, skill, and a touch of whimsy. Based in the Portland-Vancouver area, Ruth creates beautifully detailed placemats, quilts, table runners, peek-a-boo baby quilts, and kids' crayon satchels—each piece designed to bring warmth and charm to everyday living. Ruth’s journey began at a young age, learning to sew at her mother’s side. That early passion became a lifelong craft. She worked professionally as a seamstress for iconic brands like Jantzen Swimwear and Columbia Sportswear, honing her precision and expertise.
